Over time transport has developed from the steam engine to battery/electric powered cars. This has been developed in the need to get from one point to another quicker and more effectively. Thus speed in transport has been developed over time to suit the needs of the society of that period.

Cultures have changed since the inception of affordable and effective transport. Road trips are now opted out for safer and quicker methods such as the train whilst those who can use airlines.

The society has been heavily influenced by transport and communication, its so easy to talk to someone on the other side of the world and getting there is not hard as there are means and price ranges from one to another. The world has become a much smaller place due to the fact that technology has been adopted  by the society and every aspect such as transport have relied on technology. Transport systems(communication) have also been developed over time to satisfy the needs of the society as well as the technology of the time.
